Hey Ford, great to see you out here gettin' your chat on! Question: Cristi posted today that you were painting with Christmas music playing. Do you have a favorite genre or particular types of music that you find inspiring when you paint?
As it turns out, I was listening to the Christmas music of Bob Rivers, who can make a great satire out of almost every Christmas song. All good fun, and puts me in a jovial mood.
Normally, I when I paint the music that surrounds me helps dictate my energy. For example, if I’m already feeling energized, I’ll listen to classic music, and if I want to feel an energetic infusion, I’ll listen to rock and roll. There is never a moment of painting when music of some genre is not playing. I’m not sure that I could.
